A graphic designer by trade, the artist often thinks about the way we communicate things like tests, warnings, information, etc. to folks visually with both symbols and color. In this design there are a lot of literal bells and whistles going off - and lights, and sirens... the "test" is knowing which button to push to fix the problem or solve the equation.
