The designer chose the imaginary friends theme because they thought it would be cool to display a person having an imaginary friend. The ghost was chosen because not everyone deals with positive things in their life, so the imaginary friend or enemy, could be the ghost. The ghost shows someones struggles and things they want to get rid of in their life, or could simply display their personality. They made the person emotionless and just blank in color because they wanted the viewer to envision themselves when they see the creation and put themselves in the project.
